What are affiliates?

Affiliates which is also known as “associate program”, is an arrangement between a website merchant and an online marketer. The affiliate is a type of reseller which sends or refer customers to the merchants website. The affiliate then receive a fee for the referral or a percentage of the sale that results from the transaction.

Affiliates is an asset to the business. They are an excellent way of selling products online. It can also be a cheap and excellent marketing strategy. Its a good way of promoting products online.

A lot of affiliates find this work satisfying and sufficient to support their lifestyle. It is their road to riches. Some earn hundreds, others earn thousands and those lucky enough earn millions.

So, how does it work?

Find a niche, create a useful, interesting, content-rich and keyword-rich website on one topic and weave in affiliate links and adsense ads.This method would probably work for becoming an expert affiliate. Being an affiliate need some skill. It is therefore urged / advised to know the method.
